I was invited to create a poster using a new typeface design by Yongje Lee. Sûsa60 was designed as a Hangul Helvetica with multiple weights. The poster was exhibited as part of The Hangul Helvetica Summit at KF Gallery in Seoul in 2023 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Switzerland.

This poster reflects on how communication is a process, and in order to cultivate strong friendship, we have to learn and build together. Proverbs are a nuanced example of how we teach values through language, so I paired one of my favorite Korean proverbs (원숭이도 나무에서 떨어진다, Even monkeys fall from trees) with a Swiss German proverb (No master has ever fallen from the sky).
